- Business information: Company name, address, and tax details you choose to add to your profile
- Client data: Names, email addresses, and contact details of clients you add
- Invoice data: Invoice amounts, line items, due dates, and payment status
- Usage data: Pages visited and features used, collected via Vercel Analytics
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Process invoices and facilitate payments
- Send transactional emails (invoice notifications, payment confirmations, reminders)
- Improve the Service based on usage patterns
- Communicate important updates about your account
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate FreelanceFlow:

- Neon — Database hosting. Your data is stored in Neon's secure PostgreSQL infrastructure. See Neon's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Security
We take security seriously. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is restricted and encrypted at rest. We implement rate limiting, input sanitization, and security headers to protect against common attacks.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

You have the right to:

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — specifically for authentication (session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.

FreelanceFlow is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
